Rett Syndrome robs those who have it of the ability to speak, or even use their hands to communicate. This is just one symptom of a complex and debilitating neurological condition that affects almost every aspect of daily life.

This October 2024,  join us in going Speechless for Rett Syndrome.

By pledging to spend 6, 12 or 24 hours without talking, texting or typing (and using just a small number of visual symbols to express yourself) you will experience first-hand just how hard those with Rett Syndrome must work to communicate even their most basic thoughts or needs.

Or introducing the 'Power Hour' challenge for 2024 ​

Time poor but still want to make a difference?  Take our 'Power Hour' challenge:  put yourself in one of your favourite social situations and undertake the speechless challenge for just 1 hour.  You will not only gain insight to the frustration experienced by many with Rett Syndrome, but you will be sharing this

knowledge with your friends and community.

Through either challenge, you will be helping us raise awareness, understanding, and hope

for a better quality of life for those with the condition.

Every dollar of your $20 registration fee will go directly to the Rett Syndrome community in Australia,   supporting those whose lives are affected by Rett Syndrome and helping us find a cure.
